Instead of talking past one another using ill-defined language, we would do well to avoid falling for the “new English”. Rather, we should deny the re-invention of our language and ask those using these terms to explain themselves in terms WE can understand. That is, have them seek to be understood rather than having the onus on us dweebs who are unfortunate enough to have lived when words had one commonly understood meaning. Without a grounded set of words and empirical facts, reasoned conversations are impossible, which is the goal of the Marxists. Using a traditional idiom, don’t drink the Kool-Aid!
