When a Little Fraud is OK

Apparently because there is no known widespread evidence of fraud sufficient to overturn an election, we’re good to go. Get the platform built, put the podium in place and let’s throw an inaugural ball.

It’s lost on me how the fact that there was some evidence of fraud can be set aside in the quest to “move on”. If there was one, could there be more? Shouldn’t we at least see how many instances of fraud occurred and more importantly, how they came to be? Shouldn’t everyone be on board with getting the process as secure as possible? One where any breeches can be easily identified and quickly dealt with.

The more resistance to investigating all the allegations there are, the more suspicious there is something to investigate. Granted, there may not be enough to overturn the election, but there are many more elections to come and if we’re going to spend  billions changing regimes, we had better get it right and with less stress. The integrity of our elections is fundamental to our ability to survive as a Democratic Republic. On that, all the pundits and politicians are right. So why aren’t all of them screaming to find our how the Presidential election went from Donald Trump at midnight to Joe Biden at dawn?

The statistical aberrations in the current tabulation should cause even the most ardent leftists to say it was highly unusual. For example, Trump got 2 million more votes than in 2016 in counties ravaged by the pandemic, yet that was the number one Democrat issue. (https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/11/us-united-states-america-presidential-election-president-statistics/). Trump got the 2nd highest number of votes in history. Guess who got the most…? Trump won Ohio which has been on the winning side of presidential elections 93% of the time. Only he and Grover Cleveland 132 years ago, lost despite increasing their number of votes. (https://www.kiwiblog.co.nz/2020/11/statistical_anomalies_in_the_2020_presidential_election.html)

As telling about what is happening in our country is how I came to find some of this information. If you Google “statistical anomalies for 2020 presidential election” you’ll get all kinds of results from the various states and “news” outlets and nothing on historical differences. On Bing search, you get all kinds of repudiation of results and other sites that raise questions about how this election was conducted.

Those of you relying on “the internet” for your fact checking had better fact check your fact checks. We’re all in this together.

Who Negotiates with Public Unions?

There are over 7 million people paid by tax dollars that are members of a union. Over 33% of all public employees are in a union. (https://www.bls.gov/news.release/union2.nr0.htm) Just who negotiates with those unions for the compensation and benefits packages they receive? Whoever it is, I would love to have them negotiate for me.

If you want to see how a deep state can be concocted and maintained, look no further than how public employees are treated with pay and benefits. If your pay, health insurance, vacation time, and other working conditions including terms of separation are determined by a political class, where would your loyalties lie? If the guy sitting across from you negotiating your labor contract says (obviously with a wind and a nod), I can give you everything you want but only if you vote for me, how would you vote? If your lifestyle (where you live, what schools your kids go to, the friends you’ve made, etc.) depended on him/her staying in office, would you support their re-election?

So, just how are federal public employee union contracts negotiated? I don’t know and haven’t been able to find out through my elected officials. I must be on the “do not reply” list. I do know how it is done here in CT after seeing it firsthand with our local school board. Blue state Connecticut law says that if the two negotiating parties cannot reach an agreement, the contract goes to binding arbitration. Each side gets to pick an arbiter and a third is picked by…the Governor! The arbiters then are directed to look at what other similar negotiated contracts have done and then based on “the ability to pay” and not what the job content dictates, a settlement is mandated.

The result of this law dictated process is each town has seen its school budgets explode with dozens of teachers in my town of 18,000 now making well over 6 figures. Which Governor do you think they favored?

So just who negotiates public employee contracts?

Asking for a friend.

Leave Your (political) Garbage

Some have realized that living in hell hole cities is not all they’re cracked up to be. New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Philadelphia are all registering net loss population counts. The pandemic has accelerated working from home and opened the possibility of living in more hospitable climes and people are acting on it. Only thing is, DON’T BRING YOUR SHIT POLITICS WITH YOU.

You’re leaving for a reason. It might be the high taxes and exorbitant cost of living caused by decades of mismanagement by an entrenched political machine. It might be the higher incidence of crime and homelessness now exacerbated by again, political powers looking to consolidate their hold by pandering to nefarious elements. It might be because there is little prospect of the conditions improving any time soon as those in power are solidly expected to continue to hold sway over your life.

Instead, you’re moving to Tennessee, Florida, Texas and North Carolina for the opposite situations. Lower taxes and cost of living, lower crime, and less government directing your daily life is what you are finding. How you treat these newfound benefits is up to you and how you vote. If you think that you can only bring the “good” parts of your past residence by electing “good” Democrats, you are mistaken. Already, North Carolina is moving away from the things that made it attractive to northerners. Nashville, and Austin Texas are two more examples of where “intruders” are now converting what were once great places to live into the very hell holes those new entrants left. Homelessness and crime are up in both cities as governing bodies are turned over to liberal/progressive politicians. Nice job!

If insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome, you are insane. Stay where you are or leave your political garbage there.

And Now, Joe Biden brought to you by…..

How precious is it to see Democrats crying foul over an election contention. These are the same people that installed public unions that have taken control of our educational system indoctrinating whole generations to believe this is a flawed county. The same people who support the public unionized bureaucracy that determines how poorly written laws are implemented. (Guess which way they interpret them?) The same people that looked away from 30,000 erased emails on a private server that was used for official business. The same people that have stopped talking about a failed nearly 3-year investigation that was premised on information they knew to be false.  An investigation where the persons who conducted it wiped clean their official phones. A cabal that attempted to overturn an election by impeaching our President without a crime having been committed. The very same Democrats that have nary a word on the apparent bald face lie that Joe Biden never talked to his son about his private business. What do fathers and sons talk about on hours long plane rides to China?

But now we’re to believe that this election was “free and fair”. Funny how the only places where there is are serious questions so far are Democrat held areas. Funny how all the votes in question in those hamlets all went to Joe Biden. The very places where transparency was to be had from six feet away. Hilarious that despite crowing about the rule of law, how nothing is said about a judiciary that completely ignored a law. But hey, these were free and fair, and you only need the media to confirm it for you.

NY Times headline today (11/11/20) “Election Officials Nationwide Find No Fraud” – Well, that settles it!

As with every corrupt regime in history, consolidation of power must be done quickly and completely. Opponents/enemies must be vanquished. Heads must be held up so those who might otherwise question their authority will have their fate foretold. The cancel crowd, egged on by the squad, have begun the drumbeat. (Reich calls for “Truth and Reconciliation” commissions.) The very same people that brought you Joe Biden.

You’re welcome.

Shutting Down Free Speech

The Senate hearings with tech giants on 10/28 cemented the understanding that Democrats think we Americans are too stupid to discern fact from fiction. Of course, having dumbed down our education system over the past 50 years, they may be right! Massachusetts Democrat Senator Ed Markey said it best. “The issue is not that these companies before us today are taking too many posts down. The issue is that they are leaving too many dangerous posts up.” What that is saying is that you are too dumb and susceptible to words to fully determine truth from fiction, and (sic) “danger” from someone’s spouting off.

The very foundation of our Constitution is the first amendment which codifies our right to say whatever we care to say. Your opinion is as valid as anyone else’s. But according to Democrats, some opinions are dangerous and therefore cannot be spread. Some words are inciteful and spew hatred and therefore are not worthy of dissemination. They, not you, determine those statements and have been successful sublimating them thus far. This and the other Senators who would throttle the free flow of information, good and bad, are in violation of the oath of office they took and should be held accountable for not fully and enthusiastically defending the Constitution.

The ineptness of our current crop of legislators is on full display when they talk “technology”. Most are in advanced ages and have been ensconced in Washington far too long to understand the real world. Any attempts to coerce a private company to do their bidding is wrong. As much as I don’t like FB, Twitter, and Google, they have successfully delivered a service that billions of people find useful. Rather, users must demand they act in a way that serves them. I quit FB when my privacy was invaded. I don’t use Twitter and because I have an Android phone and do searches on occasion, do I engage with Google. All my choice. Consumers, not politicians who have the next election foremost in their minds, should drive changes to these behemoth purveyors of information. Competition like Parler will do more to advance the free flow of information than any Senate action.

Instead, our “leaders” must focus on education. How to people research for themselves what is true and what is fiction? Getting facts used to be the role of the 4th estate, but they have shirked their duty. In a world with so much information, it is incumbent upon our educational system to teach our young (and old) how to navigate the labyrinth of data sources to get to the truth. Unfortunately, that is a harder thing to do than publicly shaming CEO’s and pandering to voters.

The Camel’s Nose

The Federal Government continues to grow exponentially. Founders established a republic to keep power from consolidating in the hands of a few yet, over time, we citizens have allowed it to happen. Under the guise of “we’re here to help you”, politicians have amassed $26,000,000,000,000 of debt and $100,000,000,000,000 plus in promises to we citizens and others. Looking at how that money was spent can be viewed as a slow takeover of our lives. From sustenance, shelter, education to retirement, there are programs that take our labor and redistribute it as politicians see fit. Next up for control is our body.

The canard of Obamacare and “Medicare for All” is that private health care will continue to prosper. Obamacare only served to prove that false. It was only because of the plank in the law that made whole private insurers who lost money providing Obamacare, that these companies still exist. That is why the statement that private insurance is not on the block is a lie.

Put up against an entity that doesn’t have costs to consider, no private company can survive.  Obamacare offered Cadillac coverage for Kia prices. It can only do that because they can run up more debt and increase taxes to pay for it. Medicare for All or even an expansion of that program will do the same. As Joe said in the second debate, people can choose Medicare or their private plan. Well if Medicare is priced below costs and thus, well below private market, how long before consumers move to a less expensive but expansive coverage? What happens to the private companies? They eventually go out of business. But hey, you can choose….until you can’t!

Health care has been one of the last vestiges of personal freedom. We can choose to live healthy lifestyles or not. Efforts to force us to act according to political dictates have had limited success. Banning of large fountain drinks, foie gras and other “bad” stuff have found resistance. With the attempt to provide government sponsored health care, that door will be blown open. The argument will be that in order to contain expanding costs, controls that include what you can eat and drink, how you exercise, what drugs you must and must not take will be mandated. Don’t think so? Ask tobacco companies.

Freedom is on the line. Health care/Obamacare is just another camel’s nose in the tent.

On Its Face

I understand the view that Trump is a narcissistic blowhard. What I don’t understand is how those same people can ignore more substantive issues.

  1. Hillary Clinton erased 30,000 emails that may have contained information relevant to ongoing investigations of foreign influence in our elections.
  2. The private server Hillary used for both personal and official US business was wiped clean and has never been examined by officials.
  3. The Clinton Foundation garnered hundreds of millions of dollars of donations from foreign entities while Hillary was Secretary of State.
  4. Former President Clinton was paid as much as $500k for speeches given in foreign countries again, while Hillary was Secretary of State.
  5. The famous Steele dossier has now been fully documented by CIA director Brennan and others as being false, yet the investigation of Russian/Trump collusion was allowed to continue.
  6. The Mueller team was made up of Democrats many of whom contributed and or supported Democrat candidates including Hillary
  7. Mueller team members have wiped clean their official phones.
  8. VP Biden is on record as threatening withholding funds unless a Ukrainian official who was investigating his son’s company (Burisma) was removed. This is the very action that was the reason of impeaching Trump.
  9. Evidence is coming to light that Hunter Biden and other Biden family members (brother, sister) have been leveraging then VP Biden’s position for monetary gain.
  10. Both Harris and Biden (and some other Democrat candidates) are using the Covid pandemic to keep out of public view and thus, from having to answer questions.
  11. More instances of media bias are coming to light and side-by-side shows of media with Trump and Biden reveal the overtly prejudicial leanings of the media.
  12. Censorship of information is on conservatives only. Social media being the most glaring, but major media declines to run stories that are favorable to Trump or show failings in Democrats.

Do these as least cause wonder and cast doubt? If you dispute any of these items, please show me why. I would love to get the facts you have.

Putting the Country Back Together

Those on the left continually point to the divide of the country. They of course are fomenting the division while at the same time decrying its impact on our daily lives. The ad nauseam drumbeat of the President’s contribution to the divide displays the corruption that envelops the ruling class and their minions in the mass media. They know the underlying cause of this partisan divide lies in their own actions which they are lo to change. The greatest contributors are gerrymandering and incumbency.

Once we allowed politicians to determine how their own districts were drawn, is it any surprise that they would draw them to their own favor? Gerrymandering was codified further in the 60’s through language in the Voting Rights Act. There, a nod was given for the first time to a specific group to right whatever wrongs of the past. Of course, no one questions if those provisions have now run their course and are no longer relevant. Instead, this act is used as a cudgel to assure the continued control of certain Congressional districts. Both parties use the gerrymandering process to maintain and enlarge their number of seats and hence, power. Despite their being software that could easily draw more logical districts, not based on race or party affiliation, no current politician is willing to sign on to an effort to change the process.

The rules for entering political life are strewn with boulders to dissuade new entrants. From number of signatures needed to get on ballots to fund raising, incumbents have put in place advantages for themselves. On its face, having someone who benefits from a process determining that process should be a red flag. Such are the rules of entering political life. Campaign finance are the most serious of these arcane rules and certainly favor incumbents including the often cited, public financing. Who gets how much and for what reasons are all set by the very people who want to keep the job of determining who gets how much and for what. The size of war chests built up over decades is evidence of the nefarious dealings of these ineradicable career “public servants”.

To get out of this division, the platitudes being spewed by Biden are worthless. Keep the mask on Joe. Rather, legislation that demands states use impartial software to draw contiguous districts of the same population size irrespective of any other consideration, will start the process of demanding candidates appeal to ALL persons in that district. The impacts will be less partisan politicians who must find a way to appease all voters and not those of one party, as is the case in the vast majority of “uncontested” districts today.

Term limits may still be required to cut the Gordian knot of an entrenched ruling class. Representatives no longer working on their re-election from the time they first get elected, will more likely consider the country’s best interest rather than their own.  Human nature will give rise to candidates who want to make a name for themselves by doing the right thing and cashing in on it once out of office. Rules addressing post service lobbying and access must also be revised to cut the circular employment that perpetuates the ruling class.  The thought of an entrenched bureaucracy is of concern. In addition to closing the revolving door for politicians, conditions for public union employment must allow for the easy removal of those in the administration of our laws, by our elected officials.

Talk is cheap. Putting these ideas into action will do much more to “healing”, “bringing us back together”, or fill in the blank with another of Joe’s platitudes.

Is Your Head Still in the Sand?

How many instances of disdain for you do you need before you figure out, the political elites don’t care a whit about you? The “do as I demand, not as I do” career politicians have grown so safely ensconced in their bubble of privileged life, that no amount of shame will cause them grief. With a complicit media, they will bury any indiscretion and move on with nary a thought as to how that appears to the minions who continue to provide them the power they so covet. Mayor DeBlasio goes to his gym in a caravan of SUVs, woke entertainers allowed to travel without quarantining and our esteemed Speaker of the House gets a haircut when everyone else grows a ponytail. As is the case with these elites, deflecting criticism is the quick and oh so natural response. In Nancy’s case, she took responsibility, “for being set up”. That this lamest of responses will give the media their talking point tells you how tightly they have tied the knot on our society.

At least those of us who think differently know we are deplorable having been told so. You are just ignorant. (Look up the definition before you go off on me.)

Will the Next Election be our Last?

Both sides are setting we peons up for a cataclysmic election outcome. The rhetoric is reminiscent of that used by the Bolsheviks, Che Guevara/Fidel Castro, and Mao Tse Tung and it’s coming out of the mouths of our “leaders”. It’s clear that mail voting is necessary given the pandemic. What is not clear is how to conduct it without both sides either subverting its validity either in reality or through how it is cast.

The mechanics of voting through the mail are established in several states. That is, ballots are requested, mailed to the person with sufficient time for them to be received, completed, returned, and counted in the final totals. More states do not have the timeframes established nor the processes necessary to ensure that ballots will go to the actual voter, be collected, and counted in time for elections results mandated by the Constitution. Furthering the angst is the political machinations of how the votes are collected; USPS or harvesters.

States that are mailing ballots willy-nilly are playing into the fright night. No one will accept the results if they lose. Either the ballots got lost, weren’t counted, or didn’t make it to the voters in time. Fill in the blank list of grievances that will cause great, dare I say, bloody results. When Democrats call conservatives, “enemies of the people” and Republicans call lefties thieves working to steal the election, we are one flash point from true revolution. Given the antics of Portland and other cities, we are at the precipice of a frightening possibility. That gun purchases continue to climb should give pause to every person.

Our so-called leaders are doing nothing to tramp down the possibility and instead are fomenting it. Their insatiable thirst for power yields them blind to the possibility that they will not have anything to lead if things go off the rail. Can’t happen? History is strewn with societies that collapsed in a matter of days. We are witnessing it with Hong Kong as I write. Don’t fool yourself. Demand our leaders take the required steps to assure a fair and honest election and honor its results.
