Losing the Mid-Terms

3/6/26

I’m not given to apocalyptical thinking but the upcoming mi-term elections has me very concerned. Should the Republicans lose both houses or even just the Senate, dramatic changes in our governance will occur. An unleashed Democrat party, now overwhelmed with Marxists, will circumvent our Constitution in a myriad of ways.

Their stated goal of ending the filibuster will create a country run by an unfettered majority. That is, any and all laws that suit the majority will find their way to the books and those that run counter to their position, won’t find the light of day. For example, polling shows that the vast majority of voters do not want boys in girls’ sports/private areas. The current Democrat party’s position is that transgender rights are paramount. In a November loss, allowance for boys in girls’ locker rooms would likely become the law of the land. More chilling is what would happen to laws about who, when and where elections are administered. A reading of the tabled 2021 HR1 “For the People Act”, tells you that sewing up perpetual power is first and foremost with these people. That bill will be enacted should they prevail this November ending free and fair elections. You can see how adamantly opposed they are today to even the most meager of requirements for voting.

If there are efforts to stall the blatant power grab, they’ll add Supreme Court Justices. They will choose jurists who will interpret the Constitution as a living and breathing document that swings in the wind of new definitions. If there are reluctant Democrat Senators, adding 2 sycophants from Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia Washington will get the work done.

Why is this election one for the ages? Because it will determine if our Republic will survive. Quoting Joe Biden, “that’s not hyperbole”. The Republican party has been reinvigorated by President Trump. Many have learned that there is no appeasing the left and it’s an all-out battle for the soul of our country. We have learned late in the game that our children have been indoctrinated and have little knowledge of the downsides of socialism. Many are voting for candidates who do not hold our traditional values of self-reliance, duty to God and country and that the family is the bedrock of our society. The Republican party must put forth candidates that can tell the great story of this country and what it means for their current well-being. We can cry all we want about how the media stifles our messaging but find a way or lose it all.

Its now or never if we want to continue to be the beacon on the hill to the rest of the world. God helps us.
