The Democratic Socialist Party scored their biggest victory yet. They ousted three incumbent Congressional Democrats and are posed to join the “Squad” in Congress this fall.

With so much animus toward President Trump, those Democrats that will decry any socialism are still harboring and worse, voting for, socialism. It behooves these wandering voters to do a dep dive on their loyalty to this cabal currently still labeled the Democratic Party,

In 2015, Hillary Clinton erased 30,000 emails from a private server that was housed in her residence and used for official business in her role as Secretary of State. She and her husband established the now named Bill, Hillary and Chelsea Foundation in 2001 and began accepting donation from both domestic and foreign entities, many of whom had business before the US government.  

In 2016, Hillary Clinton’s campaign paid for opposition research that produced false salacious information that prompted over two years of investigation and a cost of tens of millions and severely hampered President Trump’s first administration. This was the same campaign that cheated Bernis Sanders out of the chance at the nomination.

In 2019, House Democrats impeached President Trump for a phone call with Ukraine’s President. In that call, he purportedly asked for an inquiry into the Biden family’s involvement with Ukraine officials over corruption. (Prescient when you consider later revelations about Hunter Biden.) They tried again over the January 6th rally in which he implored attendees to peacefully and respectfully protest the results of the 2020 election. Actions that were a continuation of the harassment and sabotaging of President Trump’s ability to govern.

Using the Covid pandemic, Democrats across the country imposed severe restrictions on freedom of movement and worship. Recent revelations show that it was not science, but political machinations that were the basis for shutting down educations, commerce and worship. They changed elections rules that flooded the country in mail-in ballots with little control. Some of those election interfering procedures are still in place despite the “reason” for them no longer valid. (Portions of the “Save Act” are intended to restore controls and assure election integrity.)

Then we have the Biden years. More lawfare intended to usurp the will of the people to select their leader. Suspect criminal and civil lawsuits against then Mr. Trump kept him from campaigning. The previously mentioned undercutting of election rules and decidedly biased media coverage combined to elect Joe Biden. The repudiation of Trump administration  was relentless. The border wall was scrapped, literally selling materials for pennies on the dollar. The border was shelved and tens of millions entered our country in an attempt to flood the country with new and presumably, new Democrat voters. Democrat policies thrust the country into an economic malaise with inflation spiking to over 9%. The legacy major media was in full concert with the effort and hid the cruelty of the migration and its impact on the quality of life here.

Hunter Biden’s laptop was buried by the FBI for over a year before a businessman brought it to light. It was vehemently  denied as being authentic by the media and Biden administration. The content, among other things, proves that Hunter Biden was profiting from his father’s name and position. Joe Biden was caught in lies regarding his involvement with his son’s nefarious business activities. The Biden family earned millions off of Joe Bidens’ position both as a Senator and Vice President.

President Biden was clearly failing in health and despite the clear evidence, the Democrat party along with their compliant major media continued to defend his acuity and ability to lead the free world. Right. After the lie was exposed in the infamous “debate”, the party threw out any semblance of process and installed another puppet candidate in Vice President Kamal Harris.

The current state of the Democrat Party is splitting before our eyes. What has not changed is their insatiable thirst for power. The never ending “Trump is Bad” is devoid of policy so enters the Democratic Socialist Party (DSA) to fill the void with platitudes of free this and that. Even the lefty pundits are starting to rally for a return to “normalcy” but is the Genie out of the bottle for Democrats? Are the years of letting our education system be run by socialistic unions and their Marxist teachers finally causing even the most ardent Trump Deranged Syndrome persons to question if Democrats are for Americans or for themselves? Three soon-to-be former Congressmen are asking that question this morning. Are you sure you want to place your trust in Democrats?

The Government is Shut Down?

If you are adversely affected by the current state of the federal government, you are too dependent on something that can not be controlled. A dwindling majority of Americans are unaffected by the shutdown. These are the people who pay for those sorely requiring federal largesse. Unfortunately, the number “pulling the wagon” is closer to those in the wagon. As has been the case since the first “benefit”, once ensconced, it only gets bigger and bigger.

Indeed, this version of the shutdown is over a “temporary” subsidy that is laid on to an already highly supported health care boondoggle. The absurdly named “Affordable Care Act”, aka Obamacare (ACA) was never affordable. It always required the federal government to pay handsomely for insurers to administer the program. This mighty first step to single payer healthcare is now the thorn in the current administration’s effort to re-open the government.

Like every other program of the governments across the country, once started they never end. The current subsidy for ACA was intended to help people who were locked out of their jobs by the federal government shutdown of the economy during the covid pandemic. Got that? They kept you from working so they had to compensate you in any number of ways. SNAP grew exponentially, unemployment payments soared, the PPI program doled out billions to firms, much of it incorrectly, and even though you are back to work, well, why not just keep paying!

The Founders said in the Constitution the federal government is to provide national security and promote domestic and foreign commerce. We now have over 3,000,000 federal employees as of 9/2024 about only half of which are devoted to the military or security. As more people get hooked on the federal “drug” of reliance for basic necessities, it is clear that any attempt to reduce those now entitlements is met with fierce resistance. Add Trump deranged syndrome and you have the makings of a political tempest being taken advantage of by the very persons who wrought the kerfuffle.

Will it take an Atlas Shrugged complete meltdown for a realignment? Is it possible to break through to those seeking a socialist state with the errors of their ways? Both seem out of reality right now but certainly; we’re on a very tenuous path that will end badly without course correction.

Worse than Watergate

Senator Grassley recently said that the machinations of the years since Trump came down the escalator are “worse than Watergate”. This is the understatement of the century (so far). Recall that Watergate was a cover-up of an attempt to find dirt on a political opponent. Men went to jail and a President was removed from office as a result.

What we have today pales in comparison. It starts with a conspiracy of government officials using fictitious information to subvert a candidate first and a duly elected President second. Reflecting this back to Watergate is laughable yet here we are, wondering if we will ever see anyone, let alone those who are now found to have lied to Congress, will see the inside of a jail cell.

Having jailed hundreds of Trump’s supporters for “crimes” like entering the Capital without permission or having a phone call with a foreign representative, there is a collective “so what” when the cabal’s obfuscation and outright lies are mentioned. The clear intention of subverting an election mirrors their fictitious allegations of foreign collusion that nearly brought down a presidency. Millions of dollars and two plus years of investigations were brought to bear, causing not only domestic upheaval but international chaos.

To those that continue to say, there is nothing here, understand the enormity of what took place. Government officials. At the highest level, used their power to keep a person from being elected by using false information. Once elected, they continued to use that false information to subvert the will of the people with terrible consequences still reverberating here and around the world. (This says nothing about the “deep state” activities that undercut the first Trump administration at every turn.) Given their skulduggery, is it out of the question that the 2020 election was tainted?

The actions of those involved in this conspiracy may weasel out of any physical accountability but make no mistake, history will show them as the criminals they are. Shame on them for the damage they did to our country.
